In March 2016 the ST3 Draft Plan was released and the Board asked for your comments if this is the right plan for building congestion-free transportation options in the region. Thank you for your feedback! The comment period ended May 2, 2016, but you can still view the interactive map.
The public plays a critical part in our planning process. In summer 2015 the Sound Transit Board asked individuals, stakeholder organizations and local governments to share their priorities for projects to include for study. The Board received an unprecedented amount of input on its draft list of candidate projects, including nearly 25,000 responses to an online survey. Thank you! This input helped the Board identify candidate projects for further study.
On December 4, 2015, Sound Transit released the results of studies conducted on the candidate projects being considered for ST3. Based on these studies and public feedback and comments from local jurisdictions, the Board released the ST3 Draft Plan in March 2016. A final plan will be released in June 2016, and the region will vote on the plan in November 2016.
